Valorant Player Guide
Valorant rewards players who understand map flow, loadout timing, and how opponents move in live matches. This guide covers practical habits for reading fights before you commit.
Agent utility and site takes
In Valorant, entry utility should clear one angle at a time. Flash or smoke for your duelist, then trade instantly if they swing.
Save ults for win rounds on attack. A coordinated site hit with one ultimate often costs less than five separate dry peeks.
Crosshair placement and economy
Pre-aim head level at common off-angles on Ascent, Bind, and Haven. First bullet accuracy rewards calm taps over panic sprays.
Force-buy only when you can buy armor and a rifle together. Half-buy rounds with spectres rarely convert against full buys.
Post-plant and retake structure
Default plant spots need one player watching each common retake path. Use utility to delay defuse, not to chase eliminations across map.
Review death replays for ability timing. Many lost rounds come from using smokes ten seconds too early.
