Raid routing and extract discipline

Pick one main extract and one backup before you spawn in Escape from Tarkov. Chasing every fight burns stamina, meds, and time — late extracts punish greedy looting.

Learn spawn pressure on Customs, Woods, and Shoreline. Early rotation to contested loot rooms wins more raids than waiting for third parties to clear.

Ammo, armor, and insurance math

Budget runs with PS or BP rounds still delete scavs when you aim center mass. Save top-tier ammo for player fights and avoid spraying into thick armor plates.

Insure kits you can afford to lose twice. After a wipe streak, drop to a pistol run or scav session to rebuild cash before another full-load raid.
